DVFilm Atlantis v2.0d

Converts PAL to film-motion NTSC, or NTSC to film-motion PAL!

PAL to NTSC

Shooting PAL DV has many advantages, including 20% more resolution than NTSC and a frame rate that closely matches film.

Unfortunately in many countries, including the US, finding PAL equipment to show your PAL movie is almost impossible. And getting a digital-quality conversion to NTSC is expensive, as much as $300 per tape.

But now there is a better way: shoot PAL and then convert the edited movie to NTSC with DVFilm Atlantis. Your PAL movie will yield an excellent transfer to film, but now you can ALSO show your project, submit to film festivals, and even broadcast on NTSC!

DVFilm Atlantis performs the following operations in a single pass:
It intelligently deinterlaces PAL video from Quicktime or AVI files, for a "shot on film" appearance, without reducing resolution.
It then converts 25 frames per second into 29.97 frames per second interlaced NTSC, with a modified 3:2 pulldown, the same method used to convert film to video.
It also converts 16:9 anamorphic to letterbox if required.
It can also letterbox (crop) 4:3 video to 16:9 if required.
It can also simulate film grain and red layer emulsion shift, if required.

No modification to the soundtrack is needed, because with DVFilm Atlantis PAL to NTSC the duration of your movie stays exactly the same.

NTSC to PAL

Atlantis can convert three different types of NTSC to PAL: Normal 60i (interlaced NTSC), NTSC with a 3:2 pulldown like film transferred to video, and NTSC with a 2:3:3:2 pulldown such as created by the Panasonic DVX100 or Canon XL-2 24P video cameras.

This function is useful for filmakers wishing to incorporate NTSC stock footage in their PAL projects, or filmmakers wishing to edit 24P video in a PAL editing system.
It converts the NTSC to true 24P progressive-scan, without reducing vertical resolution.
It then speeds up the 24P to 25P (+4%), speeds up the soundtrack to match, and enlarges the frame size to 720 x 576.
It can also convert 16:9 anamorphic to letterbox if required.
It can also letterbox (crop) 4:3 video to 16:9 if required.
It can also simulate film grain and red layer emulsion shift, if required.

Registry Trash Keys Finder 3.7.1 SR2

The main function of RTKF is to allow the removal of unnecessary keys from the Windows registry. Many programs leave keys in the registry, even after program removal using an uninstallation facility provided with the program itself. RTKF allows you to decide whether to delete or leave the keys found. An additional effect (it may be the main aim of some users) of removal of these keys is the "revival" of some programs trial versions after the initial trial period has expired.

The program RTKF is not a "addon" but is an addition to other "serious" registry cleaning software. It seems there are no infringements of the author"s laws: nothing is "patched" into EXE files and their action is not traced by special "spies". I do not distribute any registration keys, and, at lastly, I do not know anything about trial versions of any programs, which for their requirements could write something hidden. As an RTKF user you simply clean some trash from your computer registry.

This spells the end for MSN 8.5 and the beginning of MSN Explorer 9.0 internal testing and external testing later this year. Lets look forward to what Explorer 9.0 will bring in terms of tight intergration into Windows and also what MSN Explorer X (10.0) will bring to Longhorn along with Direct X 10.0 and Windows Media Player 10.0
